Introduction
Develop, deliver and maintain Langer Heinrich Uranium (LHU) relationships with various Stakeholders, Corporate communication, reputation management, crisis management, media relations and community engagement reporting.
Job description
- Develop LHU Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and projects in line with the Paladin group guidelines.
- Communicate and liaise with Group Corporate on the implementation of group policies, compliance and procedures.
- Execute the stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Provide strategic oversight in identifying and evaluating stakeholder influence, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Ensure consistent and effective relationship-building across stakeholders.
- Oversee the management and mitigation of potential reputation risks by monitoring public sentiment, addressing stakeholder concerns, and strategies to handle crises and issues that may arise.
- Implement an effective stakeholder communication strategy and ensure integration across all internal and external communication channels.
- Develop the compilation, design and publishment of strategic communication materials.
- Manage and control the CSR budget and ensure adherence to approved budgeted parameters.
Minimum requirements
- Honours Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related discipline.
- 10 years relevant working experience in communications, stakeholder management and public relations of which 5 years should be on management level.
- Experience in the mining and investor relations environment will be an added advantage.
- Code B Driver’s License.
